This course will help you explore and embrace this stage of your life. Ideal for you if you’re in peri-menopause or menopause but is also valuable for those in the post-menopause stage. It will focus on providing support for different symptoms of menopause through using breathing and meditations techniques, using Yoga position and a woman’s circle and journaling to leave you feeling empowered.
- Display yoga asana to support the body during menopause
- Perform breathwork to support the body (calm, cool, energise)
- Demonstrate the link between menopause symptoms and the learner’s own experience during women’s circle by contributing to the group discussion
- Demonstrate the link between menopause symptoms and the learner’s own experience by keeping a journal
About the Course: Yoga has been used for centuries to improve physical and mental health and its gentle approach is perfect for supporting the changes to your body. The stretches and strengthening improve posture and reinvigorate underused muscles. Focusing the mind on the body and breath takes it away from worries. Regular practise of relaxation has massive health benefits as it allows the body’s own healing systems to be more active
