To develop skills, knowledge and understanding in the art of metal embossing and mixed media. To create and produce finished artwork.

• Investigate the subject of metal embossing and mixed media, identifying and discussing examples of metal embossed and mixed media artwork within the workshop
• Identify, select and use a range of metal embossing and mixed media tools and equipment safely
• Identify, select and apply metal embossing and mixed media techniques, in the creation of practical samples and finished artwork
• Create unique finished metal embossed and mixed media artwork
• Demonstrate and review practical understanding of your creative practice

About the course: This workshop is for beginners and is an introduction to metal embossing and mixed media as a subject and technique. Learners will explore how to create metal embossed and mixed media artwork in the workshop

Who is this course for: Beginners and/or anyone with an interest in exploring something new and unique within art and craft

Previous knowledge or experience: No experience required s all skills and techniques will be taught in the workshop

How will I learn: Practical activities; samples and finished artwork

How will I be assessed: Tutor discussion/Q and A and learner practical development and outcomes

What shall I bring: Apron and notebook. Materials fee: £10.00 per learner payable at the start of the workshop

Next steps: Progression onto other LIL workshops and/or courses or other independent workshops and/or courses
