9.30am to 10.30am, 11.00am to 12.00pm or 1.00pm to 2.00pm

Mini Farmers is a farm-based activity session designed specifically for children aged between 4 and 8.

During the session children will have the opportunity to learn through experience by taking part in practical activities around the farm such as feeding the animals, collecting hay and poo picking. Children will be provided with all the equipment they need to complete the farm tasks.

The session is 60 minutes long.

Additional information

All children must be accompanied by an adult (adults are included in the £9.50 ticket).

No more than 1 adult per child may attend the session.

All adults and children will be escorted off site at the end of the session. Anyone wishing to stay at the farm after the session will be required to pay standard admission or present a valid membership card.

The group will meet outside the Farm shop (by the plant sales) at the start of each session.

Please Park in the main car park. You get 20 minutes free parking, so plenty if just dropping off and leaving site again. If you are longer than 20 minutes, please put your vehicle registration in the tablets in the visitor centre to receive free parking.

Please wait outside the Farm Shop. You will need to bring your e-receipt with you (this can be on a device). Please ensure you are there 5 minutes before your session start time.

The activities will take place around Staunton Farm. Please make sure your child comes dressed for the weather, warm clothes and waterproofs are advisable. Overalls for children will be provided and must be worn due to our biosecurity measures. All participants should be wearing welly boots or suitable walking shoes. NO sandals or any open toed shoes. We do not provide shoes, and any inappropriate shoes will result in not being able to take part in the activity.
