To provide you with basic strategies to build positive relationships with your child and manage your child’s behaviour in a positive way. Suitable from toddlers to age 11.
- Describe what positive parenting is
- Identify three ways to build a positive relationship with your child
- Teach your child at least two new skills and behaviours
- Identify and describe at least one strategy to help your child develop self-control
- Apply two strategies to manage misbehaviour and feedback to the group
- Be able to identify and explain at least two positive parenting strategies that you intend to use
Who is this course for: This course, funded by UK government is for Hampshire parents/carers aged 19+ who want to learn strategies to manage their child’s behaviour in a positive way while developing a positive relationship with them.
Previous knowledge or experience: None required
