The focus of this introductory training is to explore key elements that make up business plans.

This short presentation on Business Planning can be used as a workshop for childcare and early education setting leaders and your management /governance to understand the key aspects of creating and using business plans to develop your childcare provision.

You can use the presentation slides and links to support the development of business plans in your setting and to consider how you can review and evaluate systems and processes that you have in place, building in a structure of continual improvement to your business processes.

The aims of this training are:

•        What is the purpose of a business plan?

•        The content and development of a Business Plan

•        Embedding your business plan into your provision

Please allow at least 2 hours to complete this eLearning course; The materials contain a mixture of information, clips and quizzes to support the learning. Please note this training is run through the SfYC Moodle pages and you will therefore require computer and speaker access. You will also need to provide an up-to-date email address to enable access to the e-learning.

Once you have purchased a place on an eLearning, a login will be emailed to you.
