This course aims to help parents and carers support their child’s learning and emotional wellbeing. It will give you easy-to-use ideas to help your child feel confident, handle challenges, and stay positive. You’ll learn ways to build a strong relationship with your child, encourage good routines, and help them become more independent and resilient. Suitable from toddlers to age 11.

- Identify two ways to teach your children how to manage their emotions
- Describe the importance of emotional intelligence
- Identify two ways your child can manage their anxiety
- Describe how to introduce your child to change and how they can manage the associated feelings
- Apply a strategy to build your child’s self-esteem and help then feel good about themselves
- Describe how using choice in a child’s life helps them become resilient and empowered
About the course: Raising Resilient Children is an online course for parents and carers. In a small, friendly group, you’ll learn easy ways to help your child feel confident, cope with challenges, and enjoy learning. The course gives simple tips to build routines, improve communication, and support your child’s independence. It’s a relaxed space where you can share ideas and learn together. Suitable from toddlers to age 11
