This course is to learn to use watercolour, pencil and pen to capture the world around you. Learn through demonstration and practice to sketch scenes quickly and with energy, and embrace the use of colour to enhance your landscapes.

Learning Goals

• Learn to use pencil, pen and watercolour to describe what you see.
• Investigate how different colour and composition can convey different moods
• Embed sketching as a habit for improving observation and helping relaxation.

About the course: Learn to relax using this beautiful medium to record what you see as you develop your painting ‘voice’.

Who is this course for: This course is for people who would love to improve their watercolour skills in a fun, supportive and encouraging environment.

Previous knowledge or experience: This course is suitable for all.

How will I learn: You will learn from watching the tutor demonstrate techniques then having a go yourself.

How will I be assessed: You will receive encouragement and constructive feedback throughout the sessions.

If a learner decides to withdraw from a course before a course begins, the following charges should be made:

• 21 working days or more before course starts a full refund will be issued
• 7 - 20 working days before course starts a £10 admin fee will be charged
• Less than 7 working days before the course starts no refund will be made
