Discover the art of paper folding with Easter designs while learning new techniques and enhancing your skills. Experience the calming joy of origami, whether you are starting out or looking to expand your knowledge. This workshop offers inspiration, challenges, and a rewarding sense of accomplishment.
Learning Goals:
- Gain and deepen your understanding of fundamental origami folds through step-by-step instructions
- Create four seasonal origami designs like a Basket, Simple bunny, a Flower and an envelope with bunny locking system
- Discover how origami can promote mindfulness, creativity and bring calm
- Get an idea of how to choose the right paper ,the right size and texture of the paper to enhance the look of the creations
About the course: Discover the beauty and excitement of origami which combines creativity, focus and joy. In this, just one-day workshop, you’ll learn to fold, shape and bring to life four delightful Easter and Spring creations- a cute basket, a bunny, a beautiful spring flower and a functional envelope with locking system. The models are carefully chosen to represent the season and introduce a variety of folds and techniques. This workshop is a fun, creative way to embrace the season and explore the meditative joy of paper folding. You will leave this engaging and specially curated workshop with the confidence to explore more intricate designs.
Who is this course for:
- Absolute beginners ready to dive into the art of Origami
- Intermediate folders looking to expand their repertoire with festive designs
- Creative individuals seeking a rewarding and mindful one-day experience
Previous knowledge or experience: No experience needed
How will I learn: Hands-on folding of paper by following tutor’s step-by-step instructions
How will I be assessed: Tutor observation of your completed models.
What shall I bring: 15 sheets of origami or square paper and PVA glue
