Join us as we celebrate the longest day of the year with our Dusk-till-Dawn walk starting at Beacon Hill.

Are you ready to take on the challenge of night hiking and experience the South Downs like never before?

Book your shuttle slot now to secure your place. Please add each participant separately at the time of booking and include emergency contact details of someone who will not be on the walk with you.

This moonlit trek will take an average of 6 hours, covering 18km of the South Downs Way. You will finish at the trig point of Butser Hill, the highest point in Hampshire, as we welcome in the sunrise on the longest day. Join in with the celebrations and toast your achievement with breakfast available to purchase from Butser Kiosk.

• We reserve the right to change the timing of shuttle services
• Registration will take place at the Queen Elizabeth Country Park Visitor Centre between 6-9pm on Saturday 20th June
• Shuttle service to Beacon Hill begins at 8.30pm
• Please ensure you have enough time for your booking
• Missed shuttles will not be refunded
• There is no age limit for this event, however participants need to be able to complete the walk
• Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult at this event

Ts and Cs

I consider myself to be fit and able to participate in the Summer Solstice Dusk to Dawn walk. The activity will be an overnight 18km hike on uneven terrain and steep inclines. I accept that, by the nature of this activity this may involve some level of risk which cannot be fully eliminated, and I consent to taking part.

To the best of my knowledge, I have highlighted any medical/ health conditions during the booking process.

In the event of illness or accident I consent to any necessary medical treatment which might include the use of anaesthetics. If any illness or medical treatment occurs after the return of this form and prior to the activity, I undertake to inform the Queen Elizabeth Country Park Team in writing.
