As a charity, here at Sir Harold Hillier Gardens we rely on your vital support to protect our rare plant collection and preserve the beauty of our historic Gardens.
We care for over 200 threatened plant species and participate in international conservation programmes. Every donation—big or small—goes directly back into the Gardens, helping us grow, educate, and inspire.
We’re currently focusing on several exciting and essential projects:
- Continuing to improve pathways for greater accessibility
- Redeveloping the iconic Peony Border
- Installing accessible benches at the Golf Buggy Shuttle Stops
- Adding inclusive play features to ensure children of all abilities can enjoy the outdoors
- Additional equipment for the Education Service
- Supporting the Horticultural Student programme
If you feel passionate about one of these projects, please select from the list above to help us archive our goals.
Thanks to your support, we’ve already achieved incredible things. Your donations have us helped achieve some fantastic projects including; improving accessibility in the Gardens, building the pond shelters, increasing our plant collection, buying equipment, training our student team plus more.
