Fun, farm-based activity session for preschool children to learn basic farm skills.

Teeny Tiny Farmers is a farm-based activity session designed especially for learners from around walking age to around six.

During these weekly, term-time sessions, children have the opportunity to learn through experiencing practical activities around the farm such as feeding the animals, collecting hay and poo picking. Children will provided with all the teeny tiny equipment they need to complete these fun tasks. Sessions take place at Manor Farm on Thursday and Friday mornings 10:00 - 11.00am. Sessions are £12 each, but if you book five Thursday sessions or five Friday sessions you will receive a 10% discount!

All children must be accompanied by one adult (adult is included in £12 ticket). One adult only per child. All adults and children will be met outside Main Reception five minutes before the session is to begin (thus, at 9:55am). They will be escorted out through side gate after the session. Anyone wishing to stay on at Manor Farm after the session will need to re-enter via Main Reception, and pay either standard admission or present a valid membership card. Please park in the main car park; you will need to enter your car registration into the tablets in Reception for free parking.

You must bring your e-receipt with you (this can be either printed or on a device). All activities will take place around Manor Farm. Please ensure you come dressed for the weather, with warm clothes/waterproofs if needed. Overalls for the children are provided and must be worn. Adults and children should wear wellies, as it can be messy! You will need to hose down your boots before leaving the farm, as a biosecurity measure.

All information held by Manor Farm will be stored in accordance with the Data Protection Act and will not be shared with any third parties.

Statement:

All Teeny Tiny Farmers will be required to wear coveralls for their session for hygiene purposes and so we can easily identify participants in the event. All Teeny Tiny Famers must wear wellies, which must be rinsed under the tap before exiting the farm for reasons of biosecurity. Any requests from the Leader for Teeny Tiny Farmers and their accompanying adults to use handwashing facilities and/or footwash mats before and after entering animal enclosures must be followed, for reasons of biosecurity. There is no eating or drinking on the farm during Teeny Tiny Farmer sessions, to remove risk of cross contamination. No refunds can be given for any missed sessions.
