The Master's House, National Boys School, Romsey: This iconic building in Romsey was built in 1872 and donated by Rt. Hon. William Cowper-Temple (resident of Broadlands). The architect was William Eden Nesfield who was a very well known contemporary architect of the Victorian era with his distinctive Japanese influence.
This talk will cover fascinating information from the design and build, to the families who lived in the Master's House to the present day use of this wonderful Grade II listed building. It is presented by Philip Newton whose family have lived in the Master's House for over 60 years.
