Did you know that archives can tell the story of the riots in a Hampshire town in the 1880s and give a colourful account of the problems of trying to run a village school at the end of the nineteenth century?

Local historian Bob Clarke will introduce the Victoria County History and its development to the present when volunteers compile local publications based almost exclusively on primary sources, including those in the archives in Hampshire Record Office.
