As part of Only Murders in the Library, the annual series of crime writers talks at Basingstoke Discovery Centre.

We’re very excited to welcome back bestselling crime fiction author Vaseem Khan, who into the world of James Bond. Vaseem takes us on a whirlwind journey from the Naga Hills region in 1950s India and a locked-room mystery featuring a headless corpse – via his award-winning Malabar House mystery novels - to contemporary Britain's MI6 and the exploits of James Bond and Q. The Man with the Golden Compass is the second in his 'clever cosy' mystery series, aimed at fans of Mick Herron and Richard Osman, featuring Q from the Bond franchise.

Event running time is around 40 minutes plus time for a Q&A. Waterstones will be present for book sales and signing before and after the main event.
