Walk Through the Bluebells with Rachel Acrylic Painting Workshop

10.00am to 12.30pm
Working from visual references supplied we will sketch, colour mix and apply a range of mark making materials to create our own vibrant bluebell wood painting.
Learning Goals:
- Plan an engaging composition
- Mix acrylic primary colour paints to create secondary and tertiary colours
- Select effective mark making tools and apply with confidence
- Explore texture mediums and gels to create painterly effects
- Create a unique, original piece of artwork to take home
- Demonstrate an individual approach
Who is this course for: Adults looking to further explore acrylic as a medium and landscape as a genre
Previous knowledge or experience: Beginners welcome and improvers would benefit also
How will I learn: Rachel will talk you through the various creative stages and explain how to use all the materials on offer. She will show you how you can use the variety of tools and products on offer and will encourage you to be individual in your approach
How will I be assessed: Rachel will be on hand to offer hints and tips and support you every step of the way
What shall I bring: Please bring acrylic paints, brushes, an A4 canvas board (approx.) or mixed media paper, an apron or wear old clothes. Rachel will supply drawing boards, palettes, mark making tools and texture gels
