This house has links to 2 US Presidents and 7 MPs. Its story begins with the Domesday Book and ends at the start of the 20th century

This talk tells the history of the house, associated with very wealthy admirals in the 17th century, the forgotten victory at Louisburg, the surprising links with the London Underground, Westminster Abbey, the War of American Independence and the American Civil War. The house has recently been demolished and a third version of Westbury House will soon sit upon the site.
